We, the owners, have been very closely involved with domestic animals for more than two decades.

Our experience spans 24 years of breeding top quality Bullmastiffs as KUSA registered breeders, and we have also operated a boarding facility very successfully for eight years before. Thankfully we have been very fortunate in both these undertakings, and had a fine reputation to uphold when we decided to extend our services to quarantining pets for emigrating owners.

Kookaburra is a very exclusive facility, comprising only 15 units for dogs, and seven units for cats. On this scale we feel that we can keep it under our personal, professional care, and give the animals more personal quality attention. Our dog units are spacious (5m x 3m) and comfortable, and the cat units slightly smaller.

Despite this exclusivity, our prices are extremely competitive. Our primary objective is to render an excellent professional service at a reasonable price. This priority is well within our reach by dint of our experience, location and the goodwill we have achieved to date.

The facility is situated on our 2 acre residential property. We are very conveniently located just off the main highway (N1 between Johannesburg and Pretoria) in Clubview, Centurion. It therefore boasts easy access from both Johannesburg and Pretoria and for transport to the airport.

We manage the facility strictly in accordance with the rules and regulations of the State Veterinary Directorate of the National Department of Agriculture. Our veterinarian is in close proximity and available around the clock, seven days a week should the necessity arise. You are most welcome to come and view the facility and meet us.
